Lynda.com, a LinkedIn Company, is a leading online learning company that assists anyone in learning business, technology, and creative skills in order to achieve personal and professional goals. Members can access the Lynda.com video library through individual, government, corporate, and academic subscriptions. It comprises more than 5,700 top-notch courses, which are taught by recognized industry experts. It also has more than 225,000 video tutorials that can be accessed across mobile and desktop. In 2015, Lynda.com commenced a lead generation campaign to expand their products’ reach amongst their relevant audiences.

The target audience comprised of HR managers and staff playing a pivotal role in learning, development, and training at businesses in North America with almost 50–10,000 employees. The preferred marketing methods used were email marketing and content syndication, across various channels, including a successful social media component. Lynda.com provided a whitepaper report and a webinar as a sample of their promotion offerings.

The Education Report, a Machintel publication for leaders in the field of education, and its associated social media communities were used to engage with the target audience with the information of Lynda.com. All micro-site visitors were retargeted to enhance brand and product awareness.

The campaign achieved high levels of engagement with repeat interactions through retargeting, on-time delivery of leads, and a 100% acceptance rate of the MQL leads generated.
