Workiva's product Wdesk is a cloud-based enterprise management and auditing software-as-a-service platform that enables companies to create and file financial and compliance reports and documents to the SEC and other federal and state regulatory agencies.

To promote brand awareness and find potential clients, Workiva conducted lead generation campaigns across the UK targeted at mid- to large enterprise-level companies over a specified threshold of employee and revenue size.

The target audiences included finance titles like controllers, treasurers, statutory reporting titles, executive directors, and senior accountants. Branded content was developed by Workiva and provided for further promotion. The preferred marketing methods were email marketing and content syndication across a variety of channels.

The Capital Report, Machintel's publication for financial decision makers, and its associated social media communities were used to engage the target audiences with promotional content. Micro-sites for each of the assets were built for the campaign and all site visitors were retargeted to enhance brand and product awareness.

The campaign achieved high levels of engagement with repeat interactions through retargeting, on-time delivery of leads, and 100% acceptance rates of the MOL leads generated
