Cisco Umbrella is a cloud security platform that provides the first line of defense against ransomware attacks by enforcing security at the DNS layer and by stopping C2 callbacks.

To promote awareness and identify potential clients for OpenDNS Umbrella, Cisco Advanced Malware Protection (AMP), and Cisco Email Security, Cisco Security Solutions launched demand generation campaigns across the US.

The target audiences included system and network administrators, senior-level analysts and managers, technology and enterprise architects, and director+ level TI professionals. The preferred marketing methods were email marketing and content syndication using whitepaper digital assets across a variety of channels.

The InfoTech Report, and other TI Industry publications from Machintel, and their corresponding social media communities were used to engage the target audiences with Cisco's product information. Micro-sites were built for each of the digital assets used and all site visitors were retargeted. Contact information for al leads were tele-verified prior to integration with Cisco's CRM systems.

The desired lead volumes were fully met prior to the end date and the campaign achieved 100% acceptance rates for the marketing and sales-qualified leads generated.
