Limelight Networks is a premier content delivery network (CDN) service provider that enables organizations to deliver faster websites, more responsive applications, the highest quality video, and consistent game and software downloads to any device.


To identify potential clients for Limelight's network architecture solutions, they conducted lead generation campaigns focused on mid to enterprise-sized companies across the US, Canada, and Mexico.


The target audiences included senior decision makers in engineering,

operations, development, digital publishing, and C-level titles like CIO and CTO titles. Branded content was developed by Limelight's marketing team and provided for further promotion. The preferred marketing methods were email marketing and content syndication across a variety of channels.


The Entertainment Report, Machintel’s publication for the entertainment industry decision-makers, and its associated social media communities were used to engage the target audiences with Limelight's promotional content. A micro-site was built and al site visitors were retargeted to enhance brand and product awareness.


The campaign achieved high levels of engagement with repeat interactions through retargeting, on-time delivery of leads, and 100% acceptance rates of the MQL leads generated.
