Luma Energy offers electricity and gas packages to more than 480,000 homes and businesses in Victoria and New South Wales, and electricity packages in South Australia and Queensland. Luma Energy's promise is to "always strive to do our best, and the best by our customers." Being the biggest is not always better, and as much as price is important, the added value given to customers is more so. To promote their services to small businesses. Luma Energy ran a lead generation campaign across their coverage area.

The target audiences included small business owners and decision-makers; 'small business' was defined as businesses with fewer than 20 employees. The preferred marketing methods were email marketing and content syndication across a variety of channels. As an additional incentive, Luma Energy provided entry into a drawing for 12 months of free energy when customers switched their service.

The Green Energy Report, Machintel's publication for decision-makers in the field of Renewable Energy, and its associated social media communities were used to engage the target audiences with Luma Energy's product information. A micro-site was built for the digital asset, and all micro-site visitors were retargeted to enhance brand and service awareness.

The campaigns achieved high levels of engagement with repeat interactions through retargeting, and desired lead volumes were fully met prior to the end date. MQLs generated achieved 100% acceptance rates.
